Tennessee School for the Blind The Tennessee School for the Blind is a visionary resource for Tennesseans from birth through high school who are blind or visually impaired and for others who provide them with care and services. TSB offers information, education, counseling and technical assistance to families and schools in local communities as well as to the children enrolled as residential or day school students.
Tennessee-The King's Daughter's School The school was established as a private non-profit residential program for students ages seven to twenty-two with a primary diagnosis of mental retardation. The school was based on the principle that people with mental challenges should not be isolated from society but allowed to function and be afforded rights and opportunities like every citizen.
