  The staff at James E. Duckworth School believes that all students can learn skills that will enhance the quality of their lives regardless of developmental disabilities, socio-economic status, race, gender, or cultural considerations. We believe that our school's purpose is to provide a sequential, structured, and individualized educational program in a nurturing and caring environment.

  The Maryland School for the Blind is a statewide educational resource for individuals (particularly ages 0-21) who are blind or visually impaired, including those with multiple disabilities.
  
  
• Maryland-The Chelsea School
  Chelsea School is an independent, non-profit, co-educational day school for grades 5-12, dedicated to the academic education of intelligent and motivated students, able to learn in the presence of their diagnosed language-based disability -- DYSLEXIA.
  
  
• Maryland-The Parent's Place of Maryland
  The Parents' Place of Maryland is a non-profit family-centered organization. Our sole purpose is to enhance the lives of persons with disabilities. We are here to serve the parents of children with disabilities throughout Maryland, regardless of the nature of their child's disability or the age of their child.
