Mount Vernon Youth Orchestra Mount Vernon Youth Orchestra is a chamber orchestra which meets weekly on Tuesday evenings during the regular concert season (September to end of May). It is an excellent group of musicians, many of whom are in all-state orchestras and bands. The group performs a board repertoire from baroque to 20th century music. Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra The orchestra season consists of four or five concerts plus a performance of a major choral work featuring the choirs of the Ginter Park Presbyterian Church and the Richmond Theological Consortium. The Symphony performed only three concerts during its inaugural season; today, the orchestra plays more than 70 public performances and 110 in-school concerts each year. The Richmond Symphony is one of the largest performing arts organizations in Virginia, with a current annual operating budget exceeding $3.5 million. With its 35 full-time and 40 part-time musicians, and a 150 member chorus, the Symphony presents a rigorous 38-week season and reaches a quarter of a million people annually. In addition to concerts in the metropolitan area, the Symphony travels more than 3000 miles a year.

Youth Orchestras of Prince William Welcome to the Youth Orchestras of Prince William. YOPW enrolls approximately 250 students in four orchestras and a variety of chamber music ensembles. Although we serve students primarily from the Prince William County area, YOPW members come from as far away as Winchester and King George County, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. to attend our rehearsals and concerts.
