  The Boston Chamber Ensemble was founded in 1989 as a group of 40 instrumentalists who comprise a chamber orchestra from which smaller, more intimate groups are formed to provide programs of great diversity and interest. Located in Massachusetts.
  
  
• Boston Symphony Orchestra
  The Boston Symphony Orchestra, under the leadership of music director Seiji Ozawa, performs in historic Symphony Hall from October through April. Joined by some of the world's most acclaimed guest conductors and soloists, the BSO presents programs that encompass the rich tradition of orchestral repertory as well as less familiar works and premieres of new works by distinguished living composers.   The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra is a community group of adult amateur musicians dedicated to performing good music at free concerts in and around Cambridge, Massachusetts. The orchestra is also committed to creating a relaxed atmosphere in which its members can experience the fun and excitement of learning this music: there are no auditions, no dues, and no permanent part assignments. Free concerts by the full orchestra and the CSO Chamber Players are brought to schools, community centers, and elderly housing in and around Cambridge for audiences who might not otherwise hear live orchestral music.

• Longy School of Music
  The Young Performers Chamber Orchestra of the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, was founded in 1977 by the eminent violinist Roman Totenberg. The orchestra is part of the Young Performers Program (of the Longy School of Music, stationed in Cambridge, Massachusetts) and honors audition-only program designed to give talented young musicians the comprehensive music training and performing experience to prepare them for a lifetime involvement in music.
  
  
• New England Philharmonic Orchestra
  The New England Philharmonic is well-known to Boston, Massachusetts-area audiences for its first-rate performances and innovative blend of new, lesser-known, and established orchestral works, and is unique in having both a Composer-in-Residence program and an international Call for Scores competition. • Northshore Youth Symphony Orchestra
  NYSO is a multi-community based youth orchestra established to foster educational, cultural, and musical activities for young people by providing a nurturing atmosphere for the young instrumentalist. The orchestra strives for excellence by educating young persons in musical skills and self-discipline through participation in a large musical organization. Located in Massachusetts.
  
  
• Pioneer Valley Symphony & Chorus
  The orchestra, under the dynamic leadership of Music Director Paul Phillips, provides professional musical direction for over 200 volunteer musicians. Approximately 95 instrumentalists and over 120 singers participate annually, producing five full symphonic concerts, as well as family, educational, and choral programs. Membership in both orchestra and chorus is open to any qualified musician. Located in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
  
  
• Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra
  Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston, Massachusetts is one of the few professional orchestras in the United States organized as a cooperative with musicians controlling all artistic aspects of the orchestra.
  
  
• Quincy Symphony Orchestra
  The Quincy Symphony Orchestra performs three Symphonic Concerts and two Holiday Concerts each season, concluded by a Pops Concert in Boston, Massachusetts.
  
  
• The Concord Orchestra
  The Concord Orchestra is made up of musicians primarily from Concord, Massachusetts and surrounding towns led by conductor Richard Pittman. Our season consists of three regular concerts in the fall, winter, and spring, a Family Concert in December, and a Pops Concert in May. Most concerts are held at 51 Walden St. in downtown Concord, but we sometimes use the Sunbridge Auditorium when we needed a larger hall.
  
  
• Wolf Trap
  Wolf Trap for the performing arts hosts dance shows, plays, music, festivals and the opera. The Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts provides services for early childhood educators, preschool children and parents.
